Finally...An Update

Hi everyone! You think i was out somewhere? Nah! Im online everyday, but I just can't think of anything to post here. But looking at some old photographs, i found this picture:











It's my bestfriend - Lori. I miss her soooooo much! We haven't seen each other in a while. If there is someone who knows me better, it's her. We've been bestfriends since gradeschool, and i swear...we will be bestfriends till the end.

Hmnn....im so lucky to have a friend like her. That is why i keep her in my heart. ANd eventhough we don't get the chance to see each other more often now, in our hearts we know that we're bestfriends and nothing can change that. I love you Lori!

A Glimpse at the Convention

July 16 - the much awaited event in New World's Philippines! It was held in Rockwell Tent, PowerPlant Mall in Makati. I had so much fun that day. Jd and I went at around 2pm and was greeted by my co-members in Hogwarts Philippines. It was really good seeing old faces and old friends from the forum. It was really nice to meet new members.

There are lots of fun and surprises at the Convention. There was CosPlay, Masquerade Ball, New World's Amazing Race and some performances specially the Luscious Malfoys....they really Rock!!!
I don't know if this one's better than last year in Glorietta...but i really had great time....sad to say i have to go home early coz i still have loads o do at home and im super tired.

I uploaded just one picture....i have lots but i will post them next time.

Little DuDu

Little Dudu is a cute wee pink fluffy teddy bear i found at the arcade. The moment i saw it @ Toys R Us....i wanna have it! So Jd and i bought a lot of tokens that day and tried to pick it from the machine but we failed.....honestly, i cried....coz i really wanna have it.

So, the next day we never loose our hopes....we bought some more tokens and guess what?!!
We've got Little DuDu! Not one but two!!! We're sooooo happy and i can't wait to hug it in my sleep tonight....

Pretty childish huh? But it's true..that Little DuDu has really captured my heart. Im not really a huge teddy bear lover...but these beards means a lot to me.

Thanks baby Jd for not giving up just to get them for me.

4th New World's Sci-Fi Convention

I can't wait for another Sci-Fi Convention on Sunday. I will get the chance to meet my fellow Hogwarts Philippines mates! I'm excited to wear my school uniform again, and my new robe! This year is going to be exciting! Lots of new games and stuffs...it just gets better and better. And one more reason why i am so excited...Jd is already a member of Pinoy Harry Potter and this is her first time to the Con... ( i remember last year's Convention, she's still courting me by that time). Finally i encouraged her to join our group. Looking back at last year's Con..

In Memory of Brandon Teena...(part 2)

Being a lesbian/gay is not a disease! We are all equal in the eyes of God. We should pay attention to acceptance, tolerance and respect. We all have the right to live in this world no matter who we are and what we are. We should not discriminate others because they are not as normal as we are. What matters here is one’s own personality. How they get along with others and it’s all about their inner-self…and not how they look, how they dress and definitely not about the gender and the choice they have made.

Brandon Teena (real name: Teena Brandon) is just an ordinary boy/girl who made mistakes, doing what he/she wants and living life the way he/she wants it. He/she have her dreams and happiness. There are reasons in every stories and he/she’s got reasons of her own why he/she have decided to be the person he/she wants to be.

But some people are narrow-minded, making it difficult to understand other people’s feelings. These are the people who killed Brandon and ruined everything he/she planned for his/her life. He/she’s young, free and has plans for the future. It’s so devastating to know how he/she died into the hands of two (I don’t exactly know what to call them) men.

Homosexuality is not a crime. It is the people who make their own judgments and taking the law in their own hands. I wish that the story of Brandon Teen a will wake everyone’s senses on how they treat lesbians/gays in the society.

Once again I will say this: That there is nothing wrong with being lesbians/gays, it is the society that is mixed up because it punishes people for not conforming to its gender stereotypes.

Brandon Teena, there are millions of people who understands you. It’s so sad that you have to leave and never got the chance to make up for your mistakes. May God bless your soul and may you Rest In Peace.

"All She Wanted"...All I Wanted!!!

I've been searching all the bookstores here but i really can't find a copy of Brandon Teena story.
I want it and i want it now! Ok, the brat side of mee is awake. I really want it. But the only way i can have a copy is thru amazon...and i dont have paypal account!

I really am hoping to get this book by next month. Wish me luck, i will do what it takes to get a copy.
